About the artist

Harry Thomas Edwards (b. 1993, UK) is a visual artist and songwriter based in Berlin. Drawing and painting have been central to his life from an early age, eventually leading him to study Fine Art at Kingston University in London.

After a decade in London moving between visual art and music, he relocated to Berlin in 2019, where the freedom of a dedicated studio allowed his painting practice to deepen. An extended stay in New Zealand during the pandemic became a pivotal period, intensifying his relationship to landscape, colour, and the emotional resonance of place.

Working primarily in oil paint and self-developed mediums, Harry’s paintings explore expressionism through colour, gesture, and line. His work moves between abstraction and suggestion — often rooted in nature but filtered through memory, music, and intuition.

He has exhibited in the UK, Germany, and New Zealand. Influences range from Patrick Heron and Joan Miró to Frank Auerbach and Tal R — artists who share a sensitivity to colour, rhythm, and painterly presence.
